Budi Pradono won 2nd prize on Sichuan School International Conceptual Architecture Design Competition China, April 2009. Co-organised by WE (WestEast) Design, The Bartlett School of Architecture UCL and Sichuan Provincial Institute of Architecture Design, more than 400 young and experienced architects and designers from over 35 countries are registered as participants.

The aim of the Sichuan School International Conceptual Architecture Design Competition is to help rebuilding a high school damaged in Sichuan Earthquake and to provoke discussion of ideas and direction regarding design intervention in International School Development.

The open jury for Sichuan School International Conceptual Architecture Design Competition was successfully held in The Bartlett School of Architecture UCL London on April 18th 2009.

Budi Pradono Architects [BPA] is a research based architecture studio with interdisciplinary practice focus on contemporary lifestyle, hospitality and urban design through an inclusive and rigorous methodology of research, intensive experimentation and collaboration. The works develop through research analysis of practical as well as theoretical issues ranging from program, typology, material, structure and use to larger networks of social, environment and cultural consideration.
