by Artvisualizer Press Media Saturday, May 02, 2009

Roger Cusson began his career working in Architecture when he caught the CAD and Design Visualization bug in 1985. His start-up company, Interface Computer Graphics, worked with professionals in the Architectural industry on consulting, implementation, software development and design visualization studies. In 1991 his consulting firm was recognized with an award from Cadalyst Magazine for professional renderings. His clients have included Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and the McGill University Health Centre.

At the same time Roger began to teach students and practicing professionals. Roger has worked as a full time professor at Vanier College, an occasional lecturer at McGill University School of Architecture, and Autodesk University. Roger has also executed numerous trainings for Architectural companies, and has been a guest speaker at Penn State and Virginia Tech Schools of Architecture.

Roger has worked closely with Autodesk Media and Entertainment. His work began with Training and consulting work with 3ds Max and Autodesk Viz. He then joined Autodesk as a training manager being primarily responsible for courseware development. He was responsible for the organization of the Siggraph 2004 Master Classes for 3ds Max.

Roger co-authored the book, Realistic Architectural Visualization with 3ds Max and mental ray, he was also lead author for 2 Autodesk VIZ books, and was a significant contributor to the 3ds Max 8 and 3ds max 9 Essentials books. Roger works and lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Do you want to jump head first into Architectural Visualization? Because award winning Architectural Visualization guru Roger Cusson is back with his Architectural Visualization CG Workshop.

This workshop is aimed at students interested in kick starting or enhancing their existing skills in architectural visualization and rendering. It is a beginner to intermediate level class geared towards students who have some experience with 3ds Max and with 3D Architectural Modeling.

Upon completion of this workshop, it is envisioned that students will be able to produce rapid visualization studies and be able, with some additional effort, produce realistic images of their architectural projects.
