Nwes : Teater Tujuan Programme - 17 April 2009

Pentas Teater Tujuan is one of Jakarta Arts Council Theater Commission’s program which is educational and appreciative. This program gives a performing opportunity for theater groups in Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi (Jabodetabek) area, and if necessary in other areas, to test their result of training and exploration in front of audiences and discuss it for the purpose of revision and completing.


The program is held at Sanggar Baru, TIM, and/or at other cultural container in DKI Jakarta. JACTheater Commission will give fund for helping the chosen group to perform and will appoint a theater observer to analyze and discuss the performance.

The theater group which is valued most by the observer and members of Theater Commission will be recommended to hold a following performance at Teater Kecil TIM and will be given fund to help them perform.

PROCEDURE
For participating in the Pentas Teater Tujuan program, a theater group must submit a proposal to JAC Theater Commission. Proposal reception will be held in 2 periods a year; in September-November (for a show in January-June 2008) and March-May (for performance in July-Dec 2007). In the appointed period by Theater Commission, a representative of the theater group has to be ready to present the performance plan in front of Theater Commission members.

Proposal must contain these data:
1. Title of performance
2. Name of the group
3. Address of the group
4. Concept of the performance
5. Short description of the performance
6. work target of the group
7. summary of the group’s activity
8. performance’s crew (director, actors, art staff, and production staff)
9. Summary of the crew’s activities
10. performance budget
11. other source of fund besides JAC (if there’s any)

The form for submitting proposal could be obtained at JAC secretariat every workdays or could be downloaded at www.dkj.or.id

JAC secretariat will ask the submitting group to fulfill needed data. Incomplete proposal won't be judged by Theater Commission and will disqualified.

Announcement for the chosen group will be done at early June or December or at least 1 month before the scheduled performance. The announcement will be published at website www.dkj.or.id or will be informed by JAC, Jl. Cikini Raya no. 73, Central Jakarta.
